For some, this image may represent one's hope of creating a family. For others, it might hold space for someone coming to terms with not being able to have children, or to help cope with the loss of a child. This piece also celebrates our midwives of children or ideas, or the feeing of personally giving birth to a new idea or project. Moreover, this art is an invitation to bring forth what we truly love, to move forward with tenderness and grace, to recognize what's fertile, and tend to that; and no matter what, to be kind with ourselves throughout our process of discovery, whether we are birthing some-thing or being reborn ourselves. Birth comes in many forms.
As you may have noticed, many of my paintings are quite complex. There are so many beautiful details contained within each piece that deserve some real attention, and can stand all on their own. So, I decided to extract some of these details from various paintings, and offer them to you as "Minishkas" for further contemplation. Because sometimes, less is more. Collect them all to pepper your sanctuary with beauty. Enjoy!
Be sure to check out all the different frames available for each print medium, too, to find the perfect finished look (frames may vary, depending on what size and print substrate you select).
